After 9 years in a corporate job, I made the shift to being an entrepreneur 17 years ago. I started a communications consulting and training company, and surpassed my 6-figure corporate salary just past the first year, and it grew from there.
In my 17 years in business, I’ve made a lot of shifts and changes, including a very intentional one several years ago: I sold my house and most of my belongings and took my business on the road. It was scary, and also liberating: the ultimate freedom!
Through that experience, my perspective on work shifted: I chose to focus on what I’d been asked to do for years, again and again – coach people to start and grow their own thriving businesses.
